Charice, the Filipina pop star, cleared the air about her sexual
orientation in an interview with Boy Abunda on The Buzz. “Opo, tomboy po
ako [Yes, I am homosexual],” she said. She told Abunda that she is
indeed a lesbian amid speculations about her sexuality. She also
apologized to her family and fans who are disappointed in her coming and
thanked those for their support.
Fans may remember Charice her brief but brilliantly bitch appearance as Sunshine Corazon in the second season of Glee.
On the show she showed of her beautifully commanding vocals with a
rendition of “Listen.” She was most recently seen as a judge on the
Philippine version of The X-Factor.
