Velvet Foundation's Film of New York's First Gay Pride in 1970

The Velvet Foundation is laying the groundwork for a National LGBT Museum in Washington, D.C. Over the last couple of years, under the direction of Tim Gold, they have been collecting materials from around the country. Among those materials, they recently discovered a rare high-quality film of the first LGBT Pride parade in New York City in 1970. While not edited it is amazing to watch.Watch it here.
