Woman Giving Out Notes Instead Of Candy To Fat Kids With Irresponsible Parents

Fat kids won't get any Halloween candy from this woman.

Happy Halloween, you irresponsible parents. Sorry, no candy for fat kids here.
A North Dakota woman has decided that every day judgmentalism just isn’t good enough anymore. For her, Halloween is the perfect opportunity to tell parents how irresponsible they are for having overweight children. She’s also going to make sure that fat kids won’t be given any candy at her house this year.

”I think it’s just really irresponsible of parents to send them out looking for free candy.” — woman who won’t give any Halloween candy to fat kids.

Quoting the familiar phrase “It takes a village to raise a child,” the woman told Y-94 radio that she’s going to take the opportunity to let parents know what she thinks about how they are raising their children. “I just want to send a message to the parents of kids that are really overweight… I think it’s just really irresponsible of parents to send them out looking for free candy just ’cause all the other kids are doing it.”
Yes, all you irresponsible parents of fat kids, how dare you want your child to fit in with all the skinny kids? Don’t you know how wrong it is to allow your child to go looking for free candy, just because all of the other kids are doing it?

Dr. Gordon pointed out that children are very sensitive to the idea of fitting in with their peers.

Several psychologists have weighed on the North Dakota woman’s Halloween hand-out plan, and how it might affect the fat kids this woman wants to target. North Dakota State University Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology, Dr. Katie Gordon, who is considered an expert when it comes to eating disorders also appeared on Y-94. Dr. Gordon pointed out that children are very sensitive to the idea of fitting in with their peers. She suggested that the letters the anonymous woman intends to give out to “even moderately obese children,” could do more harm than good. “It’s just that kind of thing that for some kids, if they’re vulnerable, might trigger major problems.”she said.

It takes a village to raise a fat kid.

Don’t worry, such advise won’t stand in the way of the wicked witch of the North (Dakota). Why worry if your actions will do more harm then good? Every child’s weight and eating habits are obviously this woman’s business. Telling you irresponsible parents to step it up, well, that’s just the icing on the cake. For her, the real fun happens when Johnny wants to know why he got a note to take home to mom, when Jimmy got a giant sized Snickers bar. “It’s because you’re fat, Johnny. And fat kids can’t have treats.”
It takes a village to support a child. It takes a village to teach a child. It takes a village to raise a child. It takes a village to love a child. But it takes just one rotten-hearted, mean-spirited old hag like this to ruin a child’s self esteem for a life time.

Does this woman really think she’s going to be able to remain anonymous?

Does this woman really think she’s going to be able to remain anonymous? I don’t know about you, but if I looked in my kids Halloween bag and saw a note like that, my first question would be “Hunny, which house did this note come from?”
Getting toilet papered by a bunch of angry, little fat kids would be the least of her concerns.
To read a copy of the letter the woman intends to place in the trick or treat bags of kids she deems too fat for candy, see the image at the top of this page.
