A 23-year-old man was jailed for a year for performing a sex act on a sleeping man.
Iain Fisher, an air steward, had been at a bar with two female colleagues when they met the 22-year-old man and invited him to a house party.
According to the Daily Record, the four carried on drinking at the house before going to bed together fully clothed at 4.30am.
The women left the room and went to sleep on couches in the lounge and Fisher also left the bed.
He returned at about 6.30am and his victim – who is reportedly heterosexual – awoke to discover Fisher performing a sex act on him.
Ayr Sheriff Court heard Fisher left the room 'laughing' and his upset victim went home in tears and told his father about the incident.
Fisher's lawyer was quoted as saying, 'I asked him why he did it and he said he thought it might be consensual but he has to accept the victim was asleep.'
