Maryland will wear helmets and uniforms celebrating the 200th anniversary of the "Star-Spangled Banner" on Saturday against West Virginia.
Maryland players will have the poem "Defence of Fort McHenry" on their jersey sleeves, helmet and cleats. The logo on the helmet and pants features the outline of Fort McHenry, where the battle that inspired the national anthem was fought.

In addition, team captains will wear red belts, as American military captains did during the battle, and each player will have the word "triumph" where his name usually goes on the back of the jersey.
