American country artist Steve Grand has released a new single to iTunes and announced more details of his upcoming debut studio album.
The record’s latest single Time was posted on the 24 year old singer’s official website yesterday, and will join his previous singles All American Boy, Stay and Back To California and eight new songs on the collection, which looks set to arrive early next year.
Grand’s latest offering is a whiling and unravelling country ballad that, like its predecessors, wears its heartfelt lyrics upon its sleeve and showcases Grand’s undisputed knack for coming up with emotionally-resonating musical snapshots.
Speaking of his new album, the Chicago-born musician, whose heart strings-tugging All American Boy music video was a viral success last year, wrote on his site that the record “has literally been the goal of my existence since I was twelve years old.”
Grand also thanked his fans for their support before confirming that his earlier singles feature new production work “that are faithful to the “magic” that was captured in the original recordings“.
Time is available to download from iTunes now, along with a cover of Sir Elton John’s 1974 classic Bennie & The Jets which won’t appear on the LP but can also be streamed below.
