Daniel Radcliffe Says He Will Never Shy Away From Being Naked In Movies

Daniel Radcliffe in EquusI can’t get enough of it! It’s not something that I’m trying to achieve. It’s something that I don’t have a problem with. I did the play where I got naked when I was 17, once you do that you don’t really care. It immunes you to any inhibitions. Again, not something I seek out but never something I’m going to shy away from.”

Daniel Radcliffe Laughs at Freddie Mercury Casting Rumors

RadcliffeYes, all the claims being made by the UK's Daily Star tabloid about Daniel Radcliffe playing Freddie Mercury were just that - claims.

Says Radcliffe:

"There is no truth to it at all,. It's one of those very, very funny things: it came out of a story in the Daily Star and then you see newspapers like The Guardian using The Star as their source, and it grows and grows [until] it's 'Dan Radcliffe is playing Freddie Mercury!', which I was never going to do. Everyone on the internet who I presume is saying I'm totally wrong for that part is correct. I AM completely wrong for that part!"

If he takes the part, Hollywood insiders predict it will be the actor’s biggest pay day since he played Harry Potter in the successful movies.

“Plus, he’s closer in height to Freddie than Sacha, who’s much taller. Daniel can really sing, too.”

The tabloid also claims that producers are impressed with Radcliffe's Kill Your Darlings performance as gay beat poet Allen Ginsberg, and say that Baren Cohen dropped out
