With
Disney having cornered the market on cutesy, it's pretty easy to forget
that some of the company's characters are supposed to be evil beyond
redemption.
You'd think
that might complicate things for the "cast members" hired to embody
those characters in the eyes of young Disney theme park visitors, but in
really it's quite the opposite: Being the resident villain is pretty
damn great.
In this
video shot at Disneyland, an employee playing the Evil Queen is asked by
an 8-year-old guest if she is "still jealous of Snow White."
What
follows is a magical journey to the "dark side" of Disney guided by the
only park staffer who can tell a small child to stop crying and keep
their job.
