This past week on her show, Rachel Maddow made harsh criticism of George Bush for some of his recent actions.
This past week it was reported that George Bush spoke at a meeting to
address the group called “Jews For Jesus”. This group seeks to covert
jews to Christianity in hopes of bringing about the second coming on
Jesus.
It is said Bush had private meetings with this group and another
radical religious group back in 2004. Reportedly, Jews For Jesus and
another group met with Bush’s Near East and North African advisors to
help figure out foreign policy issues.
Maddow said this is of big concern and she understands you’re free to
practice any religious beliefs you want, but when it involves U.S.
foreign policy, these groups should not be in involved.
Maddow said she can’t wait for the national archives to get hold of
Bush’s foreign policy to see how much of a say these extreme religious
groups really did have.
