Jennifer Wexton (D), attorney at law, announced last November that she will be seeking the office of Virginia’s Attorney General.
Wexton’s got some pretty bold ideas, and uses pretty bold language.
Weston said she was going “to continue Herring’s tradition of pragmatic
problem-solving, while also standing strong against the extreme agenda
of the Tea Party Republicans.” Wow, we like her already!
In a prepared statement, Wexton said about her bid for office:
“I’ve been increasingly troubled by the divisive agenda the extreme right-wing Republicans have been pushing in Richmond. Here in Northern Virginia, families care about getting the economy back on track, improving our schools, and fixing our transportation problems. As State Senator, I’ll focus on what matters most to Northern Virginia families and get results.”
Watch this kick-ass campaign ad — probably the best we’ve ever seen.
